In order to configure the connection back to Automatic, edit the EUI-Wi Fi profile, go to the Connection tab and check Connect when this network is in range: Figure 14: Setting Automatic connection  = If the Wireless Network Connection icon is not present, this may be due to the wireless network manager of your vendor's card taking over from Windows' built-in one (Wireless Zero Configuration).

During the connection it flashes that it "connected" for a second then goes to "Validating Identity" which it eventually timesout on.I am using the Windows Wireless Connection Manager. On a couple of occasions I've seen that particular AP (don't know what firmware) suddenly stop attempting to authnenticate clients (it never sends any RADIUS requests) and power-cycling the AP "fixes" the issue.I have two XP laptops at home that were both working fine for weeks with a new Cisco wireless router, then suddenly they both say "Limited or No Connectivity." Both of these laptops work fine with another wireless router.
Also, a third laptop in the house (Vista OS) works fine with the same router that won't work with the two XP laptops. Thank You Very Much, Educated Guess I'd suggest doing this first: 1. When I try to reconnect, it grinds away for 10-15 minutes, saying, "Validating Identity" then I get the "Limited or No Connectivity" message. This unit was recently reformatted, but I haven't run malwarebytes or adaware or anything to see if that would clear it up.
